Brief Bio
César Benavente obtained his PhD. in telecommunications engineering in 1999 by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He is at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in the circuits and Systems Engineering Department at the Institute of Telecommunicacions (E.U.I.T. Telecomunicación). His research interests are related to digital signal processing in communication systems, software radio systems and MIMO communication systems.


Olivier Paillet

Brief Bio
Olivier Paillet graduated as engineer from the Ecole Polytechnique and engineer from the Ecole Nationale de Statistiques et d’Administration Economique in France. He headed Artificial Intelligence activities at the Compagnie Générale d’Electricité before joining Alcatel, first as R&D director, then in charge of several business divisions internationally. In 2014, he became Managing Director of the ESEO Group, Graduate School of Engineering and research center in the field of Information Technologies.

Brief Bio
Andreas Ahrens received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Rostock in 1996. From 1996 to 2008, he was with the Institute of Communications Engineering of the University of Rostock, from which he received the Dr.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. habil. degree in 2000 and 2003, respectively. In 2008, he became a Professor for Signal and System theory at the Hochschule Wismar, University of Technology, Business and Design, Germany. Sebastien Aubin has been an associated Professor from ESEO – Angers, France – since 2008. After an Engineering degree and a research master, he received the Ph.D. degree in Microwave, Electromagnetism and Optoelectronics from the INPT Toulouse, France in 2009. His current research interests include sensors, sensor networks and localization.
